Polyurethane is the most versatile elastomer in engineering. We've built our whole shop around it — the chemistry, the molds, the finishing — so you get a part that fits your application, not a process looking for a problem.

Dense skin

A tough, self-formed outer layer with a smooth surface and excellent abrasion resistance — no secondary coating needed.

Foam core

A cellular interior that cushions, dampens, and insulates. Same chemistry as the skin, no interface to fail.

Skin and core form together in the mold. No lamination, no assembly — a single continuous part.

Moldable geometry

Complex shapes, undercuts, integrated fasteners, color-molded finishes — all produced in one operation.

Geometry, process selection, and fit-for-purpose evaluated.

Tool Build

We work closely with a mold manufacturer located in Marshall and handle the mold construction process from design to production parts — or we run production from a mold you supply. First sample parts in 6–8 weeks; production tooling timelines vary by size and complexity.

Formulation

Polyol system selected or custom-blended for target hardness, skin thickness, density, and service environment.

Mold & Cure

Meter-mix-inject or meter-mix-pour, demold, and post-cure to full properties.

Inspect & Ship

Dimensional and quality inspection.

Cable & Hose Crossovers
Molded safety orange polyurethane cable and hose crossover ramp with a single tunnel and ribbed traction surface, manufactured by Comcast Urethane

Protect hoses and cables from everyday foot traffic.

Five standard styles covering bottom tunnels, circular tunnels, and top-access designs for quick line changes. Traction cleats on the top surface prevent slippage.

Why urethane outperforms rubber

Resists what rubber absorbs. Holds what rubber loses.

Rubber deforms, cracks in cold weather, and absorbs oil and fuel until it fails. Integral-skin urethane resists hydrocarbon fluids, holds its shape across a wide temperature range, and survives years of outdoor exposure without hardening or cracking. The dense skin resists abrasion and UV; the foam core absorbs impact when a tire rolls over a chock or a cart crosses a cable run. Both product lines are molded from the same chemistry.

Standard profiles and styles.

Chocks: single-piece wedge, dual-wedge pair, wide-base aircraft profile, and studded off-road. Crossovers: single or dual bottom tunnels, circular tunnels with PVC or steel lining, and top-access designs. Custom logo plates emboss branding into the standard wheel chock mold.
